Jack Elkes Statistician

Jack Elkes is a clinical trial statistician at Imperial collaborating with my mhealth on trials in chronic diseases and the use of a smartphone app to improve self-management. Jack is a mental health first aider for Imperial, and is involved in the community at Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU), having given talks such as the “Stress Buster” session during Mental Health Awareness week.

As an RDS General Advisor, Jack works closely and collaboratively with other experienced research advisors both internally at Imperial and across the four partner institutions (www.rds-london.nihr.ac.uk/ ). Jack supports and advises investigators who are submitting applications for peer-reviewed funding streams for a broad range of health service research. Including providing written and oral advice on aspects such as the research design, funding stream and statistical aspects of the application
