Led by outstanding clinical academics, Imperial is at the forefront of the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease and associated risk factors. Under the guidance of Professor Neil Poulter and in collaboration with leading researchers from the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI) and the School of Public Health (SPH) at Imperial and other institutions, ICTU has co-ordinated major cardiovascular and diabetes studies across the UK, Europe and the globe.
